Adolescence is where I found my love of writing. During undergrad, I learned about the many art forms communication encompasses. In 2013, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a Servant Leadership certification from Columbus State University.

Since then, I've contributed my time & gifts towards closing the gap in the fight for educational equity. I began spreading my wings naturally during Teach for America's summer institute program. I brought an extensive background in community service & outreach, along with a positive attitude & engaging personality. I was active inside & outside of the classroom with student engagement & involvement during my time as an English Language Arts & Reading teacher. I helped initiate & organize a Yearbook club, in addition to being a volleyball coach & Advisor to a young girls’ college readiness empowerment group.

My attitude towards work & performance on the job is a direct reflection of my passion & gratitude for the beauty of communication.
